Welcome to St. Paul Lutheran Church!St Paul Church is an evangelical-catholic communion in the Lutheran (ELCA) tradition.Our evangelical roots penetrate the Augsburg Confession embracing the Reformation doctrine of “justification by faith alone” wherein we are taught to trust in God’s grace alone to confer on us meaning, worth and value. From the Augsburg confession we go back to hear the command Jesus gave to us, his followers, to “go therefore and make disciples.” (Matthew 28:19) Our catholic identity is our hope for one universal (catholic) and united witness. Martin Luther’s intention was to reform the church, not to divide nor create a new church. We are therefore an ever “reforming movement” within the church. It was Ignatius who first used the term “catholic” colorfully defending the Eucharistic’s “goodness” wherefrom we truly receive Christ. All are welcome! No exceptions!
