Women of the ELCA

As the women’s organization of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (WELCA), we provide the opportunity for women of all ages and from all places who want to grow in faith and live out their faith.

How we do this:
     • By supporting and equipping women for all levels of service and ministry
     • Strengthening and affirming gifts
     • Providing spiritual development and leadership training opportunities
     • Advocating for an end to social injustices, such as women and children living in poverty and racism
     • Giving to those who cannot help themselves, such as quilts through partnership with Lutheran World Relief

Women of the ELCA is filled with the awe of God. In many ways, we are learning to be more than we ever imagined.
