Music of Worship

“Make a joyful noise to God,
 All the earth;
 Sing the glory of his name;
 Give to him glorious praise.”
     —
Psalm 66:1-2

The Word comes alive in our midst in Scripture and in Song, to reach and hold people for Christ. Music is a gift from God to be returned to Him in praise – with voice and instrument, in worship and in fellowship, by young and old, whenever we are gathered in His name. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the music ministry of St. Paul, in choirs, ensembles, and solos.

At Sunday morning worship, more traditional music highlights the Gospel lesson and elements of the service. At Saturday evening worship, contemporary music complements the more informal setting.
