Our MissionWhen Jesus left his disciples, as recorded in Matthew 28:19, he left them with a clear mandate for service and mission. He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”Based on these words of Jesus, St. Paul Church has adopted as its mission “To reach and hold people for Christ.” This mission statement underlies all that we do as a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. |
