Welcome to the Lord’s TableEver since, Christians have gathered around the shared bread and wine, remembered the words Jesus spoke the night before he died, and trusted in his real presence.The real presence of Jesus Christ in the bread and wine we share with one another at communion opens our eyes, nurtures and sustains us in our call to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Faithful to Jesus’ instruction (Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation. Mark 16:15) we never stop inviting people to join us at the table to share the bread and wine that opens our eyes to Jesus’ real presence. First Communion Classes at St. Paul First communion classes at St. Paul are geared for children in 5th grade and older. Please contact the church office for dates of the next session. Parents who desire younger children to receive communion should contact Pastor Swanson. |
