Fellowship Activities

At St. Paul, we are a community of believers who enjoy being together. Below you’ll find a sampling social groups and fellowship events offered at St. Paul throughout the year. For more information about any of these, please contact the church office.

Koinonia: All are welcome to these weekly fellowship breakfasts at the Hi-View Restaurant on Saturday mornings.

WELCA Book Group: Women and men are welcome to join in this once-a-month discussion of a variety interesting books.

The Under-One-Hundred-and-Five Club: Are you free on Wednesdays during the day? Join Pastor Swanson for lunch and Bible study and discussion. We meet at noon in Erlandson Lounge.

Friday Night at the Movies: Join us on the second Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Erlandson Lounge for a movie. Movie selections may be comedies or dramas, classics, documentaries, or new releases. We'll supply the popcorn and pop. Stick around after the show for discussion.

Faith and Life Weekend: An in-depth study of a specific topic traditionally during one weekend in late winter/early spring.

Thanksgiving Eve Pie Social: We gather after worship on Thanksgiving eve to share conversation and a piece or two of pie.

Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper: A rollicking good time while we eat pancakes and sausage — many get dressed up as we have one last fling before Lent begins.

Trivia Night: Twice a year we rack our brains to answer obscure trivia questions and stuff ourselves with snacks.

Ash Wednesday Soup Supper: We all gather for a simple soup supper followed by a worship service to begin the Lenten season.

Mid-week Lenten soup supper and evening prayer: Each Wednesday in Lent we have a simple soup supper followed by an intimate, evening prayer service.

Passion Sunday Prayer Breakfast for all adults: From 9:15-10:30 am on Passion Sunday we gather for breakfast and a presentation by a guest speaker.

Easter Breakfast: 7:00 - 8:00 am Easter morning we enjoy breakfast served by our Luther League.

Adult Forums: Several times a year we gather together to discuss topics of interest.

Annual Church Picnic: Our summer get-together to share food, fun, and fellowship.

Ice Cream Social: Join us as we enjoy entertainment, games, and ice cream in late summer just before the start of school.

Martha Shaw Scholarship Fundraiser: A fun evening when we’ve slurped spaghetti, or pulled pork and belted out a karaoke song all to benefit the Martha Shaw Scholarship fund for music students.

Blessing of the Animals: Bring your beloved pets to a short worship service and blessing.
